Chances are you've turned the volume up whenever you hear the track "What It Is" come on the radio, and the artist behind that song is Doechii! She joined Ryan Seacrest in studio and we got to know everything about her!
Growing up, she knew she wanted to be a performer since she was in sixth grade, but she had a very active childhood.
"I did dance, I did gymnastics, I was in a band, I played soccer, played all sorts of sports and stuff like that growing up. I was a very active, hyper kid."
Doechii shared what music she's currently listening to, including Ice Spice, Coi Leray, Lizzo, and SZA.
Seacrest asked Doechii when she felt like "this is really happening for me" or when she got her big break.
"I think right now, actually... Because I'm talking to Mr. Ryan Seacrest!"

The Tampa, Florida native told Seacrest how she got her name Doechii. She put it simply, "I just always knew I was gonna be a superstar." But she also calls herself the Swamp Princess and we had to figure out how she came up with that title.
